When will MVM Admission 2027-28 start?

No date has been announced for the 2027-28 session yet. For the 2026-27 session, the official admission procedure page said admission and registration information “can be held from April 2026”. Individual branches, however, often start taking enquiries well before the session begins, so many parents begin checking their chosen school’s website from January.

Our advice is simple: pick your branch now from the list of all 150 MVM schools, bookmark its website, and check it every couple of weeks from January 2027. Nursery and KG seats fill first because admission at that level depends on available seats.

Eligibility and age criteria

Admission is open to all children, subject to seats being available in the class. The one age rule the group publishes centrally is for Nursery: the child must be at least 3 years old on 31 March of the year of admission. Age limits for KG and Class I are set out in each branch’s admission notice, so read that notice before applying.

For Classes II and above, schools normally ask for the previous class’s report card and a transfer certificate from the earlier school.

Selection process

• Nursery, KG-I, KG-II and Class I: a verbal or written test and/or an interaction with the child and parents.
• Classes VI, IX and XI: admission on merit.
• Other classes: depends on vacancies at the branch; the school decides the test or interaction format.

How to apply: MVM application form 2027-28

Online

1. Open the official MVM online admission page.
2. Choose your branch from the official branch list. Most branches have an “Apply Online” section on their own website.
3. Fill in the child’s and parents’ details, choose the class, and upload the documents asked for.
4. Pay the registration fee through the official payment option and save the acknowledgement.
5. Watch for the date of the test or interaction from the school.

Offline

1. Download the form from the official MVM admission form page or collect it from the school office.
2. Fill it in, attach self-attested copies of the documents and submit it at the school with the registration fee.
3. Keep the receipt, as the school uses it for the test and the admission list.

Be careful: MVM Times does not accept applications or payments. Pay only on an official MVM website or at the school counter.

Documents to keep ready

The exact checklist is in each branch’s notice. These are the documents schools commonly ask for, so it helps to have them scanned in advance:

• Child’s birth certificate
• Aadhaar card of the child and parents
• Recent passport-size photographs of the child and parents
• Address proof
• Report card of the previous class (Class II and above)
• Transfer certificate from the previous school, where applicable
• Caste or category certificate, if claiming a reserved seat or RTE benefit

MVM fees structure 2027-28

Fees are set by each branch and vary by city and class, so there is no single national fee table. The official fee rules, which apply across MVM schools, do tell you how the fee is made up and when it is paid:

Monthly payment may be allowed by the Principal on request in exceptional cases. A student whose fee is unpaid by the end of the month can have their name struck off, and re-admission then needs the full admission fee again. Source: official MVM fee payment rules.

Fee concessions and scholarships

• Concessions and scholarships consider merit and financial need, at the school’s discretion.
• Only one concession can be taken at a time.
• Children of MVM staff pay half the caution money and half the tuition fee.
• Seats for underprivileged children are given under the RTE Act, through the state authority.

MVM school timing and holidays

School timings are fixed by each branch and usually change between summer and winter, so check the branch website or school diary for your child’s exact timing. The group publishes one national holiday calendar: the official 2026 calendar lists 29 holidays, and says changes are informed through the school diary.
